Associate

Dolores Thibault-Muñoz practices in the areas of family law and criminal defense.  She began her practice of law in 2016 after earning her Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law.

Attorney Thibault-Muñoz began her career as a criminal defense attorney with the Committee for Public Counsel Services.  During her six year tenure, she was a member of the public defender and the youth advocacy divisions where she represented both adult and juvenile clients. Prior to joining Tansley | Halloran in 2024, she worked in the nonprofit sector.  Attorney Thibault-Muñoz has a wide range of knowledge and skills, which make her an excellent advocate for her clients.  She has significant experience representing clients in criminal matters in Juvenile, District and Superior Courts as well as divorce, custody and child support matters in the Family & Probate Court.  

Outside of the courtroom, Attorney Thibault-Muñoz has an active civic life.  She was the first Latina elected City Councilor in the City of Fitchburg.  She serves on multiple boards of local organizations and at the helm of many lasting positive initiatives in her community. In 2023, she was appointed by Governor Healey to the Judicial Nominating Commission and continues to serve on the Commission.
